What is instructional design? I’ve answered this question for my friends hundreds of times. As an instructional designer, I do a plethora of things. I’ve worked with SMEs and trainers on creating in-class simulations, as well as, created facilitator guides and participant guides for a new hire curriculums.

This PowerPoint was created as a mock-up for a fictional program in Eastern Oregon. This is an example of a PowerPoint design and a needs analysis and design plan.
I created this WBS for the CHET Database project. The work is broken down based on the deliverables and stakeholder timeline that we were trying to which we adhere. I designed all of the graphics for this WBS. I built the chart using LucidChart an online software for building flow charts.
This project was completed as part of a larger group project. I was instrumental in completing many of the analysis sections, the design of the WBS, the timeline, and the storyboard. This storyboard was designed for the Waste Module CBT. There is an evolution from the original storyboard to the final product. These types of evolutions often happen when working on eLearning modules. Sometimes its because ideas don’t pan out or because the graphics that you were going to include don’t work in the screen.
Any implementation starts with the completion of the materials. In this class, the materials were completed and then I taught several train-the-trainers on the new materials.
